Just seems to go "against the grain" to parkerize an old warhorse like that. Everyone to their taste and I may change but think I like the patina of old blue on them.
I love the old warhorse look, I got one that looks like crap, and none of the numbers match, so i was wanting to get "creative" with it, I made the stock look pretty good (well better then it was) I just wanted to try to make the metal look better.
