I recently picked up a Stevens 820, 12ga at an estate auction. The gun looks ok, but is missing the magazine, forestock, and action bar as seen in the photo below. Anybody know where I can find these parts? Would it be fairly easy to swap in pieces from a modern gun like a Rem 870 or Mossberg 500?

Thanks.

Check Gun Parts but let us know just how much you never saved buying the gun. You will probbably find that after buying the parts you need you could have bought a newer gun cheaper.

Sometimes it's just a matter of googling every other day until you hit what you need. Here's a bunch of odds and ends for $40. Tomorrow could be something different.

"one trigger housing (complete), one front guard pin, one rear guard screw, one breechbolt slide, one magazine plug w/screw, one ejector w/screw, one cartridge stop w/screw, one magazine follower, one action slide tube w/slide arm and tube nut."

_______________

Poppert's lists the 820 and 820A, but doesn't list what parts they have.
