Oh Hi Oh
I'm trying to help an acquaintance find a part for a Miroku Liberty Chief .38 special. Can someone point me to a source for parts, or exploded diagrams, or both?

Thanks

That's a hard one!

The Miroku Liberty Chief was supposed to be a Japanese police gun used following WWII.
At the time they were not allowed to have semi-autos under the terms of the surrender. So the Miroku was a home-grown attempt to produce a gun for them.

But by the time it got into production, they had alread adopted the vastly superior S&W revolver, and the Miroku guns they had been able to produce were sold in the U.S. in the 60's as surplus under the Miroku and E.I.G. names.

I know of no drawings or parts source, although you might give Numrich Arms a call.
They might possibly have a few stray parts laying around.

Miroku 38 special

I have a Miroku Liberty Chief 38 special and live in eastern Ohio. What part does he need and where does he live? If we are not to far apart, he could look at mine, if it would help. It works fine and I love to shoot it.
piddler....
