I can learn to like shiny thingsYour going to get a rude awakening with the wet tumbler that Poper is sending you. Better buy some Armor All Wash and Wax.

The bench rest crowd would call that the magic, but I like jewelry.lm wanting to get into wet tumbling, not for shiny, but to clean inside 30-30 cases. Once you load them 5-6 times and tumble between loadings, they get a black gritty layer inside.
Boom!-Splat! makes me smile.Nobody likes a little patina on there case? and guns?
LOL!!! Well, like a biker buddy of mine used to say, "The only good thing shiny chrome does is help the tow truck driver find you on a dark night."The bench rest crowd would call that the magic, but I like jewelry.
Along the same line of logic, maybe shiny brass is easier to find on the ground?LOL!!! Well, like a biker buddy of mine used to say, "The only good thing shiny chrome does is help the tow truck driver find you on a dark night."

As you say though, everyone's free to treat their brass as they see fit.
I like my brass clean. It helps keep all my tools and press clean.people coat their bullets in horrible colors, but need shinny mirror like brass??? sorry to drift.
DeleteI always tumble clean or new brass because the dust makes the brass not gall my die.
That's part of my excuse. I pick up range brass and really clean makes for easy inspection. Besides if your looking for pins your not halfassing it.Cleaning is inspecting
