Of course the SCOTUS decision allows regulation (that was clearly stated in the decision). What it doesn't allow is an outright ban.

Yeah, D.C. can still implement some firearms regulation. I don't think anybody ever doubted that.

sadly, the decision does seem to say regulation, including requiring licensing is acceptable infringement. I would not be surprised to see the dems try to push through a bill requiring licensing of all "assault weapons" instead of a repeat of the AWB. i.e. before obama's term is over, you may have to purchase a $200 stamp from the ATF to get an AR15 with a pistol grip and 30 rnd mag.

She just squandered how much of DC's money fighting this all the way to the Supreme Court so who doesn't think that she's going to try to get the best consolation prize she can out of the debacle? She'll push just as far as she thinks she can.
