In my opinion they don't "do" anything for a living,completly
removed from the regular folks.
If the actors really felt strongly about it, they wouldn't be in
movies with a lot of gun play.Not gonna happen.$$$.

This list has floated around the 'net for some years now and is in need of updating. Some of the people on it are dead -- Rod Steiger and Rosemary Clooney, for instance -- and therefore aren't likely to be campaigning much against guns. A few others -- Madonna and Geraldo, for example -- have reportedly softened their positions (Madonna has taken up shotgunning and Geraldo now boasts of having a handgun).

I'd be more interested in this if there was some evidence it was still current.

I also agree that a list of pro-freedom celebrities would be far more useful. Most people in the infotainment business are socialists; what we need is a list of the few who are not.

It would be interesting to know how many on that list own guns.

In Detroit Mi., we have a councilwoman named Sharon McPhail, who was active in creating a new gun prohibition zone. Violation of this zone would result in a misdemeanor for the "average Joe" like you or me. However, she was busted a few years back for carrying concealed at the airport and recieved a mere warning. She claimed she was in a hurry, and forgot about the pistol. I wonder if she would be as understanding if one of us claimed that we forgot we were armed because we were in a hurry?

It seems that more that a few celebreties would like to outlaw all guns except theirs.

What makes me crazy is that although I have no way to prove it, you can be sure there are plenty of names on that list that should have an asterisk that identifies them for all the world to see as * Gun Owner . Kind of like Sen. Feinstein having a Concealed Carry Permit.
