Hello Everyone,
I have a sister-in-law in New Jersey who is being stalked and has asked about pepper spray and firearms. While I have the firearms questions covered the pepper spray is a bit tougher.
According to the state penal code the "chemical unit" must be pocket sized, and contain no more 3/4 of one ounce of a substanced (e.g., pepper formula) designed to cause temporary discomfort but not bodily harm.
In layman's terms this essentially means a keychain unit from what I have seen.
Does this Fox Labs 11-gram unit qualify as shown at this link?
http://www.foxlabs.net/keys.htm
Is the 11-gram figure refer to the amount of pepper formula in the unit?
What is the typical effective range on a unit like this?
Any additional thoughts on CHL in New Jersey would be most welcome.
Thank you for the help.
