Waited a few months for these to arrive. Best custom grips I've ever had on a revolver. Fit my larger hands much better than the factory grips.

Well, great choice for your first revolver. I own two dozen + revlovers and the 627PC is arguably in my top 2 or 3 favorites. Beyond excellent fit and finish, the 8 round capacity, 5" barrel and slicked action just make this gun a joy to own and shoot.
Like you, I swapped the factory grips for some over sized wood conversion grips( also from Kim Ahrends ). Enjoy the gun, it is worth every penny![

Doh! Misread the original post. Must have been late. My Bad.
That said, the 627 pc is a great first, last or any time in-between revolver.

Technically my second revolver. Originally had a Super Redhawk 44 Magnum I wasn't happy with. Didn't shoot straight...had feeling tolerances were off and I was too annoyed to send it back. This time around I wanted to buy a finely tuned quality revolver, and I'm happy with the result!

Hang on to those grips, Cocobolo is no longer available from Ahrends. They won't make you grips with Coco even if you send them your blank. They don't want a SWAT team showing up at their business like they did at Gibson guitar.
