Huh? Since when have the Minutemen become 'anti-immigrant'. They are anti illegal immigrant. How is it that these a$$hats keep on missing that distinction?

Ahhh. Never mind. Erwin Mack has the answer right there - they don't care about the US and it's security, nor which laws are broken to get their day work done for them. They only care about their 'commercial properties'.

The Maryland Minutemen have their work cut out for them. Takoma Park, site of the Casa day-labor center they've been monitoring, has declared itself a Sanctuary City and prohibits its employees, including police, from arresting illegal aliens or assisting federal immigration authorities.

Is that even legal? Do they mean that if there's a federal investigation (yea ... right) that the local police are prohibited from cooperating with the fedgov authorities?
 
Illegal immigrants being boxed up and shipped across the border to supply cheap labor is nothing less than modern day slavery. Its both illegal and immoral.
Unfortunatly, its also damn good money to be made for employers. Ill take a few guesses at whos funding these groups ability to protest all day.

The militia, just like law enforcement and the feds, have become a target for stopping a profitable business. I suspect its going to get alot worse.

I hope they try it in some of the towns that are still part of America and get arrested for stalking, harrasment, etc.
 
They can "prohibit" anything they want - an illegal law has no force, and an ordinance saying thier officers cannot arrest violators of federal law, is illegal, and has no force, authority, or weight. Any action taken against officers who do arrest illegal invaders will bankrupt that town.
As for these "people" who support the illegal invasion and conversion of the Estados Unidas, anyone who threatens me or mine must be prepared to accept the consequences.
 
This makes me sad. People need to open their eyes and realizes exactly what these guys are about. I plan on volunteering for them(not much to do in Tennessee), so maybe ill send them regular donations.

For the Minutemen, right now the PR is more important. And everyone here that supports these people need to advocate these guys to anyone and everyone that will listen. Yet again, education and awareness is the strongest weapon Americans have in the war against illegals. So get out there and do your part.

yes and that is probably his biggest blunder to date, bigger than the mccain/feingold travesty, the harriet meyers fiasco, the vincente fox appeasement, the illegal wire tapping and the patriot act combined
 
I'm trying to rally some support for the VA Minutemen. I have two friends that might start going to rally's with me.

That's how we have to fight this: spread the word, drum up interest, no longer be the silent majority. Be the loud majority and they will have to listen.

Retaliatory harassment of American citizens is just the next act of the drama. The right answer to that, for now, is probably legal action. Sic the lawyers on 'em. We are pretty close to blood in the streets, and someone should alert the authorities in D.C., now prepping their "guest worker" program, that there are strong feelings about this issue.

The way I see it America is wrestling with its own soul, trying to decide if there's more to America than "free trade" and the bottom-line. If the anything-that-pays-is-okay crowd wins, there won't be much left of American culture in 20 years.

I find it conspicuously odd that few politicians care to truly address the illegal immigration problem. IIR, Tom Tancredo will, Napolitano is attempting to, and that's truly about it. Everybody else in the political arena is merely giving lip service to the issue. They are against the Minutemen being on the border or them doing anything to assist our government in the illegal immigrant problem. It makes one wonder what exactly is the impetus behind the Government's non-action. Even here in MN, we have a big illegal immigrant problem and there are NEVER any agents around to address it. I'm not one to give into conspiracy theories, but it really makes one wonder with dismay when there are "sanctuary cities" where illegal immigrants are "untouchable". Not only is this a national security issue, but it is also a national debt issue. Taxes go unpaid by people who should be paying at least some of their hard earned money to the govt.

Illegal immigration has been allowed, by The Few, to get so pervasive that the illegal alien community, which includes its hangers-on and advocates, has now reached critical mass. It's hard to lay down the law to 20 million people in your midst.

Another "elephant" is our indebtedness, which on all levels just grows and grows, slowly but surely undermining not only our economy but every aspect of our way of life.

All in the good of globalism and multiculturalism. Long live the international plantation owners.

Well, here's the good news. The Feds own about 30 per cent of America real estate, over half of the western states. Want to see Manifest Destiny chugging in reverse? We can gradually sell off those Federal lands to the Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, and Arabs. Got a problem with that? Well, then stop shopping at Wang-mart.
 
My great grandfather told me that Theodore Roosevelt once said," When we become a nation of hyphenated Americans, we will cease to be Americans." True or not, it has become painfully obvious to me that we are a nation of hyphenated Americans. How much longer can we last? The only place I see any kind of unity for traditional American values anymore is places like this. Sorry if I sound like I am ranting, but it is frustrating as all hell, and I don't know what to do about it.:fire:

They are not so-called "illegal immigrants." They're properly called "illegal aliens."

Every time we refer to illegal aliens as "immigrants," we play into the hands of the leftist extremists, who are doing everything possible to extend the mantle of legitimacy to cover the parasites.

ElTejon, his given name was "Marion Michael Morrison" which he later had legally changed to "Michael Marion Morrison". I don't recall about the John Wayne change, offhand. Can you substantiate your allegations?? If so, I would be interested in reading them. I've never heard of that, myself. I do know he did have a thing for those mexican cuties.

Regardless, his poem stands true. I can't attest to his alleged hypocrisy. I've done a little research on him because it was alleged, by my grandma, (maiden name was Morrison), that he was related. My digging showed otherwise.
