I was reading Small Arms Review and they mentioned this site in one of their articles. It's basically a bulletin board that our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan can post any requests on. It gives their names, requests and addresses and instructions on how to send care packages.

It's probably worth a look if you feel like helping out the war effort from home.

Lots of requests for small things that are readily available here in the states. Things like beef jerky, music and movies, small microwave ovens, reading materials and pre-moistened napkins.

Now those beef jerky guys at the gun shows serve a useful purpose. :p

If you ever order anything for yourself from Brigade Quartermaster, you can also toss a few bucks into their "goodies for the good guys" program.
