Wouldn't this be classed as a destructive device?

The ballistics for factory .600 Nitro Express out of the Pfeifer-Zeliska are 900 grains at 1515 fps, for 4586 fpe.

I think its pretty much ruled out for concealed carry.

Maybe they could make a snubby scandium version.

    The second picture is priceless

Looks like you got kicked where it hurts...OOOFFFF.

Is that your teeth flying around out there that look like miniature comets or shooting stars by the front of the barrel?

Yeah, everbodies got thier own opinion, and yes just because it's not right for me doesn't mean it's not right for you-- All those happy phrases ad-nauseum....

That things just stupid. It's so dumb it's very existense offends me.

    PS

I'm betting the sparks are photoshopped and the second pic is just the guy flinching in anticipation of pulling the trigger ;)

The best use for that thing:

Book a guided hunt in Africa. Tell the guide you've got a 600 Nitro Express. Once he agrees that "yup, that'll do it"...whip that sucker out.

How about this one? It's a 1.00 caliber (yes, ONE INCH) black-powder revolver! It was referenced in this thread on our predecessor forum, The Firing Line.

    Oh my goodness!

Either these guys are compensating for something.....or they have some really big cajones!!!

I'm a glutton for punishment, but NO WAY would I mess with one of those!

A gun that size should come with detachable monopod and wheels and a storage compartment for aspirin.

    Whatta wuss.
Use an unported barrel maybe I'll be suitably impressed:neener: :neener:

Actually it looks like the guy enjoys it. Since I'm not being asked to shoot it (I'd give it a try though). pay for it, or pay for the ammo, t'aint no biggie to me.

You wouldn't even have to hit the BG with the gun. The shock of his eardrums blowing is enough to incapacitate him (and probably you).

I want one. With some heavy gloves. And wrist wraps. And elbow braces. And a wall behind my back.

    I wouldn't mind having one...

"Thats not a pistol......NOW this is a pistol." Of course I'd have to hire a porter to carry the gun, another for the ammo, doctor for the injuries whn I shoot the thing..." Of course I could use one to 'bark a deer' during deer season.:D
