Goes to show that not all rich and famous people have armed security some protect themselves and some of those who don't use guns to defend themselves.

And that the mere display of a shotgun was enough to potentially save these people's lives. Anti-gunners always talk about domestic violence and guns. Here's a perfect example for them.

At least he didn't go out on the back deck and fire it into the air.

But I have often read a great way to scare someone off the porch is to rack a 12-gauge.

That's a shame, I was hoping it be adequate with my 870, but it only has 1 barrel.

Those double barrel pump shotguns are too expensive for me!

Working the pump as a form of self defense is asinine. It not only gives away your location, but it confirms to the bad guy that there is an armed opponent. This could well prompt him to begin shooting immediately while you are waiting for the sound to scare him off. And if seconds and fractions of seconds count, racking the slide is one more step you have to go through before you can pull the trigger.
