From what I understand, the model is a Wal-mart special. But, compared to new prices of wood 1100's running at $720+, $389 seems pretty good to me.
It's NIB, 28" Vent Rib Rem Choke barrel, synthetic stock. Can't wait to shoot it this weekend.:D

1100 w/o a doubt!

It's 2 3/4" and I plan to blast a sh**load of clays with it. I'll also take it deer hunting in the fall with some rifled slugs. God Bless Gunbroker.com!! This deal beats my S&W 686-5 6" purchase of $370 for sure.

This gun will fall into pieces after about 250,000 shells.

Shoot it spareingly!

Seriously, skeet and trap shooters love the 11000 and 1187 and blast more shells each year than you will ever put through it.

Enjoy your sweet deal.

Congrats!

It'll do , if you do your part. I know one with over 100k rds, that has felled deer, ducks, geese, doves , small game, run who knows how straights in skeet, busted who knows how many clays in 5 stand, and sporting clays...

Stays loaded at home with Brenneke Slugs for Serious Situation duty.

Still bone stock, except for some After market external knurled chokes.

"Just a work gun" he says.

His NICE guns he still plays with, just his 1100 like yours :"it followed me home so I put it to work".

I have a first-year Remington 1100 that was originally purchased by my Great-Grandfather. When he died it went to my Grandfather, who then passed it on to my Uncle who then, eventually, handed it down to me.

I doubt I could count the number of shells that have been fired through it, or the number of upland game/birds, waterfowl, etc that it has put on the table over the years. But it still shoots like a champ and looks mostly brand new.
