I'm thinking of refinishing a newly aquired Ak clone in camo (urban or tiger stripe probly). I'm not quite sure yet if I really want to. Convince me with some pics of guns refinished in various camo paterns and colors.
Thanks
Jason

I know. If I keep the rifle, I will camo the scope.

But I am planning on selling or trading it off for a FAL/AK/AR instead, so I will leave it up to the buyer to decide if they want me to camo it too.

Here's my 10FP .308 in homemade desert digital. Picture isn't all that great, sorry.

I like that alot, itgoesboom! Very different from the generic woodland camo, but I bet it breaks up the outline of the gun well in swampy terrain.

I just did mine up, next time it will be a professional job. But, overall I am pleased with the results. Still have to do the Bushnell and BUIS yet. :)

IGB, a PSG-1 replacement grip might not be a bad addition...

I am thinking about that actually. That and a flashhider. I wasn't going to do them when I was planning on selling it, but since I probably won't sell it now, unless I get a very good offer, I will probably do those additions soon.

Thanks. I wanted it to look good, but I also wanted it to be practical for the area that I am in, where we have very lush forests.

Bytor, very very nice! You too IGB & others... Dang Zak has some nice stuff eh? Amish Bill & T.O.O., wow, that is grotesque...lol. :) Well, here's my 2 camo-themed rifles, brought to you in crappy picture style. As you can see, it's mostly cheating, with the factory camoed stuff. And the Rem stock was done by the previous owner. I haven't yet developed the self-camo-job skillz. The AR receiver will have to be worked on when I do.

Stats are:

-Rem 700 BDL 24", 7mm rem mag, Leupold base & rings, Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32mm.
-Bushmaster XM15E2 20", 5.56mm, unknown brand ring set/base, Burris Fullfield II 1.75-5x20mm.
