Thank you for all the compliments, I'm very proud of my humble but growing collection. It probably won't grow much for while, as my limited funds will be used to get into handloading, and I need to get a larger safe sometime down the road. Mine is getting a little full

The grips on the K-22 are stamped with the same serial # as the gun, so I'm definitely keeping them. I may get a matching set of the diamond magnas for the 14. I'd also like to get a set of ahrends square butts for my large hands, though the stock grips are surprisingly comfortable to me. Neither gun appears to have been fired much.
I had considered a Colt Diamondback, but if I were going to get a Colt it would probably be a Det Special. BTW, I spoke to Mike? at Summitgunbroker.com, and he said he is anticipating getting some Diamonback 22s in the next few months. I'd also like to add a Ruger SP101 and a Uberti Cattleman 45 Colt one day (years down the road
), so I'm no Smith snob as my signature may indicate.
I do love my Smiths of course!
