The original target grips made for the early K and N frame revolvers in the mid 50s and were known as Coke bottle grips due the shape of the palm swell. They are beautiful hand checkered stocks and are highly collectible currently fetching $400 to $500 for fine examples. They were discontinued in the late 60s. They were known to be far more comfortable and hand fitting than the later "meat grinder" target stocks.
