Yep, I went to the gun show today. Saw a DPMS complete upper in 204 Ruger. I've been wanting to get a Savage model 25 lightweight varminter to match the .222 I just got but cant find any in stock so I settled on the AR upper. He came off $150 so I took it. I got 5 boxes of Hornady 32gr v-max's.(now I see why I reload) I put the upper on a Bushmaster lower, installed a Walmart scope and went to the range (front yard). Only 2 shots at a rock on the ground and this was my next three shots. I quit while I was ahead! I know it was only about 75 yards but it was windy. 55mph yesterday and 44 mph today. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
