The markings on the bayo appear to be the Savage S, but the style is a mk1 type with frog. The mk2 rifle bayo's were generally the knife blade #9, but some spike types could have been made and marked mk2. That is a good find.
As far as the rifle, both Mr. Skinnerton and Mr. Stratton have concluded that no complete #4 rifles were made at Ishapore, or in Pakistan. All the mk2's were built by Fazakerly. It is probable that since your rifle has the Ishapore Screw, that the origional markings were also scrubbed, the rifle painted, remarked, and issued to the troops.
It is also possible that the rifle could be a #4mk1/2, which is an upgrade of the mk1 trigger group to the mk2 standard on a British built rifle (a #4mk1/3 would be either a Savage of Long Branch). This was a FTR item that was done after WWII in England, and the rifles sent out to third world types. If you did not really know the differences, then it would be easy to confuse a mk1/2 for a mk2. I say this because the rifle came from Century, and they don't always know what they are dealing with. It wouldn't be the first time they miss ID'ed a rifle.
Nice find though. It is good to see that the rifle appears to be in fairly good shape.
