Rio: I was issued one by the Air Force for my first tour in Vietnam, 50+ years ago and have been looking for another, off and on, since.

With magna grips and a grip adapter or the old coke bottle S&W grips, they feel just right in the hand, and are light enough for all day carry. A good to great handgun for any one-gun shooter, and a worthy addition to any collection.

Looks like you got a good one; and BTW, very nice DA work! Best Regards, Rod

Thanks. :) Sometimes guns just have a combination of things that work well with you... and this one does for me.

My son in in AFJROTC in high school, serving in the Air Force is one of his dreams.

Thank you for serving during a very difficult time, our country wouldn’t be what it is without veterans like you .

Stay safe.

Riomouse911 I actually LIKE those stocks.
I'm thinkin of puttin some on my 10-5 :what: :rofl::rofl:

Truthfully, I do like the looks of 'em
I had a 66-2 that I bought with those exact stocks.
But traded it for a 1911
Me too. The Hogue synthetic stocks fit me really well but I did not want to go synthetic on the Classic K-frame blued guns I’ve bought. These wooden fingergroove grips fit my hand well, didn’t cost a ton and have the wood/blued steel look I like.

Stay safe.
