It's been a while, I know, but have you fired this much and if so, what do you think. I don't actually 'need' another 40, but this would be the one I'd buy and I've had a hankerin'. I'm a huge fan of the older M&P 45c, and have to think the 2.0 in 40 would be very nice shooter indeed.

My FiL has the full-sized 40 caliber and I have the full-sized 45. They were both police trade-ins. IIRC, the 45 is slightly larger.

I shot mine earlier today. The trigger pull is a little longer and stiffer than I prefer, but it's certainly not bad. I like the ergonomics. It hasn't ever malfunctioned for me.

Sounds like a good deal for the OP.

I bought one of these last January & I like it a lot. It is as accurate as I am. I like the stock trigger. I haven't had a chance to shoot it a lot so I am probably at or around 800 rounds through mine. The only malfunction I have had was due to bad ammunition. I was shooting Remington UMC FMJ ammunition & it failed to return to battery. I dropped the magazine, ejected the round & saw there was a small portion of the case where it meets the bullet folded backwards away from the bullet. Not the pistols fault. Thinking about round count makes me aware I really need to get out & shoot more.
