As a dedicated Pico fan, I now own two of these fine little guns. Every time I pick one up, I wonder how they can go for the little price they do when the build quality is just far ahead of pack. Every part on the gun is Stainless Steel other than the grip, great sights and the crazy mild shooting. The take down of the design was ahead of it's time and now others gun manufacturers copying the design.

Well I have been thinking hard of getting a third Pico. Alway's thinking they will finally jack up the price to meet the quality. So I saw this, and the new color grey and just might have to go forward and get it. I love the grey grip which obviously is New.
Might have to wait, but hope the new grip color does come out as I can just buy a grip if I decide I don't want to put the cash out right now. (Modular design allows for Grip replacement).
IMO they are one of the best deals in the Firearm industry.
AND the two I have get plenty of workouts. Thousands of rounds down range and they just keep on trucking. I am up to 12 magazines, so you know they are shot heavily for a pocket gun.

Neat little pistol but there just isn't enogh there for me to hold on to.

How soft shooting is the Pico? I've been looking at tiny 380's bit have been concerned about how comfortable they are to shoot. I've also been looking at the Taurus Spectrum since I heard that's soft shooting as well

After around 1000 rounds I am still amazed at how soft the tiny, thin pistol shoots. I shot it with a Ruger to compare and came away disliking the Ruger's harsher recoil. It even seems softer than my larger .380s. It feels odd in the hand, but in use shooting, the gun works very well. Hard to explain.

The Pico is one very soft shooter. The Pico was suppose to come out with 32.cal version. My belief is that they figured it was not necessary as the Pico was already such a soft shooter that going down to 32.cal from 380. would not prove that much benefit. I believe the soft shooting comes from the Stainless steel receiver and chassis being heavier than some guns, and the build design. It is also ODD that the Pico is designed to shoot shoot and advertised to shoot Plus P or Hot ammo which it does with no problem. Also the Pico having the heavier receiver and design not only gives a reduced recoil, but greatly reduces Muzzle rise or Flip.
I have not shot the Spectrum. But the difference with be a aluminum sub chassis verse the stainless steel. I doubt it is rated for Hotter ammo and of course the Spectrum will not have as nice of sights or ability to change out to night sights. I did handle one, and like the grip.
