1st one is a Dan Wesson .357mag. Pretty accurate. 2nd is a Ruger Redhawk in .44mag.
After seeing what P95 has to shoot. I have to show what us po-people have to hunt with... I also have another Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley model in .44mag that has taken five Blacktails in Washington. And it was the one in my hand after shooting my Blackbear with 30-06 at pistol range. Gawd don't I regret not taking him with the pistol!!! (300 pounds, squared out just over 6 feet. That may be small by some standards, but it's above average for Washington.) Still, as he wallowed in the brush, howling, crying, after being shot at 75 feet, Did I rechamber the old Springfield? You betcha! But the Blackhawk came to the hand soon after. I seldom travel the woods without hunting caliber pistol. Nothing smaller than .357mag with 13gn or AA#9 behind a 158gn JHP. And for the .44mag, 19gn of AA#9 behind a 300gn Seirra SP. Or 23.5gn of 296 behind a Sierra 250gn FPJ. Smokin loads! (These loads are what I've worked up. They may not be safe in your pistol. Please work your loads up safely.)
