In the past 9 or so years I finally went back to the range. What I found was that the little pin that holds the loading lever to the connecting piece for the plunger keeps falling out. Part #27 on EMF’s site.

My guess is that this little pin was inserted and then the ends (lack of a better term) dentented to swell the edges. How would I keep it from falling out?

The term you're looking for is "staking." In this case you don't swell the ends of the pin, but rather use a punch to move a little of the surrounding metal of the hole over the ends of the pin enough to hold it in place. Don't go nuts.
So I googled this and can’t seem to find a video. I believe I follow what needs to be done, but the way in which one would do this. My tool would need to be harder than this, such as what?

cool my pedersoli screw barrel pistol the pin that holds the trigger and sear in constantly moves in and out both sides so i am fixing to do this to my gun! thanks!
