I recently went shooting with a Good buddy and saw his S&W that he had Refinished. I asked who did the KILLER Re-Nickel Job on it and he Said Ford's Custom Gun Refinishers in Florida did it and I mean his S&W is KILLER! And it started out a kind'a Rough Blued Gun! They refinished it in Nickel and re-did all the original roll marks! It looks BETER than some or MOST of my NIB Factory S&W's that are FACTORY NICKEL! And I'm NOT KIDDING!
So I asked him for the Their info and link! I wanted to do a Project and thought and thought and then said Wha-La! My Glock 22 Slide! I all ready have a Glock 17 that was Hard Chromed by Tripp Research but its kind'a lack luster dull! Looks GREAT! But its Flash Chromed or A Matt Kind'a a yellow finish. Looks Good, But Again BORING!
So I decided to send Ford's my Glock 22 Slide. And I talked to Larna one of the owners and got pricing and suggestions. She suggested I Do the Sides in BRIGHT Chrome and they would do the top sight radius and the fromt and back of the slide in MATT or Bead Blasted Chrome!
And I got this Slide back today and its UNREAL! It turned my Boring Glock 22 into a real piece of ART! It's PERFECT! I love the look of it on the Black Frame and Larna was correct! The Matt or Bead Blasted Top and Front and Back ened looks GREAT! And is less refelective when sights are aligned! My Big Dumb
wanted to do it ALL in bright chrome! So it pays to listen to people who know what they are talking about!!!!!
I got the Idea, from a friend of mine that has a Glock that he had Bright Chromed, it looks OK? But it looks like a Bumper Shop did his compared to mine! His is all Wavey, and I asked why it was so Wavey and he told me ALL Glock slides are Poorly Finished or NOT Finished and thats why they use the Black Spray on finish they use, and thats the best it could be done!
WRONG! My GLOCK 22 Slide is Perfect! It looks like a Show Winner! It would win its class at a Glock Pimip Show! His is Garbage compared to mine! I knew better than that, because the other one I had Tripp do, is smooth and looks Good, but its just kind'a Boring like I said!
SO YEP! I PIMIPED MY GLOCK! And It Looks GREAT!
My 22 is a target gun ONLY! So don't go gett'n in a tizzy over it being un-safe and such in combat ETC ETC! ITS A RANGE GUN ONLY! I have tons of carry stuff!
And It will be the Talk of the Range at my next shooting session! And I doubt there will be many Pimiped out Glocks There!

I have a Glock 27 that is Mad now and wants its slide done by FORD'S in their BLACK CHROME! It will have some FLASH that I like, and still dark and safe for carry! And put on some New FRESH Night Sights! It will LOOK GREAT!
