Pistol Bullet Feeder Die

Tilos are those Lee plastic case tubes you're using?

I bought the tubes from an on-line aquarium supply site that no longer exists :uhoh:
You might find it in a specialty aquarium store but I don't think any of the big pet chain stores would have it.
My memory thinks I bought 1/2" and 5/8" tube, but I can measure it, a couple wraps of tape and it's a snug fit into the die.
I have only used it for 9mm and 38/357
I think Hornady now sells the tubes...
:D
Edit: For me the time/concentration spent filling the tubes (bullet and primer) is way different than the time/concentration needed to actually run/cycle the progressive press.
I guess you could say filling the tubes is so easy a caveman could do it.
I fill tubes prior to running the press and changing them during the process is a welcome break to check out/empty the finished round bin/monitor everything else going on.

Once again thanks everyone for the education and discussion! The more I think about it the more I think I want to try this Hornady Feed die. Seems simple enough in design and only costs about $30.00.. Also the more I use this Lee Breech Lock Pro the more I think I may migrate everything from my Pro1000 to it as it seems to be just as fast the way I use it and is quite a bit more versatile with the added position.

Um … I found a source of the tubes:uhoh::

Works good
I use these tubes for reloading 9mm bullets in a hornady lnl press bullet die and they work great.
Very good tubing
I used this thin wall tubing for a .40 cal reloading project. It fits in my bullet feeder die and holds a lot of projectiles and helps me load faster. I had a problem with bent tubing from previous order and they corrected my problem fast and easy. Will buy from Pet Mountain again. Thanks.

Thanks Tilos I will bookmark that. Am also wondering if PEX tubing would work / fit as I have some that I picked up for a different project. The PEX I have is more like a pipe than a coiled tubing.

I lay the tubes flat on a towel along with a handful or 2 of bullets.

Once you get your technique down, it's easy / quick to use both hands* to shuffle/slide them in the tubes.
When I used the tubes with my bullet feeder die, I laid them on a counter topped by two parallel glass shelves. There was a groove between the two glass panes that the bullets would align into.

A helpful "trick" is to load the bullets into the tubes "nose first" before inverting the tube to correctly orient the bullets into the die. The more rounded/pointed nose enters the tube more easily without catching the edge of the tube

Will buy from Pet Mountain again.
That is where I got my extra tubing for my Bully Adapter...using the Lee Multitube assembly. I measured the tubes that came with the Lee and ordered accordingly....I looked at all the local pet stores and couldn't find the correct sizes. I have enough tubes to load up 100 bullets before I start a run on my Hornady

Might work fine if you can find the right diameters.....but you can't see thru it. One guy used PVC and cut single slits lengthwise except top and bottom and middle to keep it together. Used a table saw I think.

So my lovely brother brought me the Hornady Bullet Feed Die today along with a package of Lee Lock Ring Eliminators. They we OS on the Lee Bushings. So tomorrow I will be at the bench swapping out calibers on the Lee BLP from 45 to 9mm. Going to enjoy this.
