Ruger Blackhawk & Marlin 1895, both in .41 magnum.

THR member Larry Ashcraft did the rifle stock, Blackhawk grips were done on faux ivory Altamont's by Michael Magliano. Mr. Magliano sells custom scrimshaw grips on ebay, I contacted him to do this pair for me.

Nice! How do the two guns shhot the same loads. One load work pretty good for both or do they each have a completely different recipe?

I really haven't devoted enough time to working up the "perfect" load for the Marlin.
My loads for the Blackhawk are all lead bullets but the rifling in the Marlin doesn't tolerate lead so I use either Hornady XTP's or Nosler HP's in it, near max load.
