I've shot tens of thousands of Missouri bullets and there is nothing wrong with them except their packaging.
I've discovered Dardas bullets which I am very fond of. Excellent bullets and a try professional. priced just as low if not lower than Missouri. Give them a try, they have me as a loyal customer now.

Sounds like Missouri bullets gets the overall! Thanks for the feedback. Apparently the only two cast bullet suppliers that were in short order were the two I ordered from! Thanks again guys. I would like to roll my own. Guess it's time that I break down and get tooled up. Lyman cast bullet manual here I come!
I think you made a good choice but like said above, there are others who are good too. I use Missouri Bullets and I'm very happy with them.

google will give him links to click on that will tell him whether or not the boolits are in stock. don't be obtuse.

if he's having trouble finding boolits in stock, then i'm guessing he may not be too good with the googles.
LOL, you're telling me not to be obtuse yet you admit "he may not be too good with the googles" yet that's where you tell him to go. Really? Wouldn't have been nicer if you recommended your favorite bullet caster instead?

Another for Missouri Bullets here - fast shipping

I also use budget bullets from Alpha Bravo Manufacturing in my own state. Fast shipping, probably not quite the match quality of MO Bullets but cheaper for plinking and practice.

I will add that I buy a lot of bullets from MBC. They are quick turn around and good quality. I shoot around 10 to 15 thousand of them per year.

Does anyone here on THR have a source for cast lead bullets where the wait is less then a year?

Yep. It takes my pot about 20 minutes to heat up and then its a matter of about 125 or so bullets an hour.

Before I started casting, I bought from Missouri Bullets. Great product, great prices, great overall experience. If I couldn't cast, they would be my first choice hands down.

I will say, if you start casting, your cost will go way down. I can load 1k rounds of .45 Colt for under $70 with my 255 grain cast Keith style bullets.

Except for the Blackpowder stuff, I use Missouri bullets exclusively. Luckily, I had enough on hand to see me through any recent time delays.
I usually have my order within 3 days of an online purchase.

How do all the listed companies so far deal with off sizes?

So far, Penn (not mentioned yet) is the only company that I have found that has the sizes I need...

One example would be ".38/.357"...

I need them to be .358" for my pistols, and .360" for my .35 Rem...I simply do not see optional sizing listed on these sites in this thread...

I'm sure most any of them will custom size for you. S and S casting has done it for me, no problem.

Talk to Luke (Dakotared). The only cast bullets I use come from him. Fast shipping, great bullets.

Try Rocky Mountain Reloading, fast, easy and affordable.

Yep. The owner is a good guy. I've been buying from him for years. I shoot cast bullets he makes locally in steel challenge matches.

My cast bullets, that I don't cast myself, come from mastercastbullets.com and Missouri Bullets (with master cast being my first choice) and I have never had a long wait. Both have always supplied bullets in a very timely manner and the prices are very good and the bullets are very accurate. Everyone has a company they personally like, but the cast bullet field is very competitive and all must make good bullets or they will be out of business very quickly.
This may come off as "back patting," but I wonder how many have actually taken the lessons over the past six years to heart:
It seems obvious to me, but with all the hue-and-cry about component availability since O was first elected, the critical thing that most should have learned from all this is NOT to wait to place an order but to be sure that your stock is kept up so these problems don't stop you. If you always maintain at least 6 months of stock, then a 6 month wait is not a critical problem. Anyone, IMHO, who has a favorite bullet and does not order in case lots is simply asking to be out of bullets at a critical time. This is particularly true for jacketed bullets, where a case lot is as cheap or cheaper than the plated bullets (that I have NEVER found to be acceptably accurate for me). Buying 500 or less to try is smart, but once you find a bullet, order a LOT. This also goes for primers and powder--be sure that your favorites are well stocked in your loading room. Plan ahead and save to make the large purchases.
About eight years ago, I noticed that I could buy Montana Gold 124gn 9mm JHPs in case lots for only a penny or two more than I could order cast lead bullets, so I began to stock up on jacketed bullets from MG, Zero, and Precision Delta. All during the shortage, I have maintained my stocks by placing orders and waiting, with enough bullets to last through even twice the estimated shipping time. My only "problem" is the price has again gotten to the point where I will have to begin stocking cast bullets as the price difference has grown too large again.

I have had very good luck with heavymetalbullets.com. I was not impressed with their 9mms (My barrels are all oversize and they only offer 1 size). Some of the best 158 grain .357 bullets I have used were from them. their 45s are also very good. I have not had any order take more than a few days to arrive.

Missouri Bullet is hard to beat, Great bullets at a fair price, Excellent service. I've also used Friendswood and ZCast on occasion with good luck.
