Even though it was against my conservative nature, I voted yes. I mean would we support more Federal control over local districts? Most of us would say no. Only when we don't like our local rules, do we want the feds or the state to step in and play "big brother". Sounds an aweful lot like hypocrisy to me. If you don't like liberal Denver (for me it was Los Angeles), move. Your other option is to vote the bums out, but being a PRK comrade, I know the liberals have to breed and fester somewhere, and it is usually in the big cities.

BTW, there are two bills in the Colorado legislature this is relevant to. One is the concealed carry bill discussed in the article. The other is a bill that would nullify city/county-level gun laws that are more restrictive than state laws.

Ohpleaseohpleaseohplease I want these to pass!

"Is this what it's come down to in American society?" Mauser said. "We've given up? The answer to violence is to put more hidden loaded guns on the streets?
No sir, it's that WE"VE not given up! and because its right!
another yes.

It's not a matter of living in Denver. I live out side of Denver, but someday I might want or need to go to Denver. The county you are in should not make a difference whether you are legal or not.
Each county having their own set of special laws only makes it harder for a law abiding citizen to stay that way.
