We have yet another victim of Gun Shoppe Commandoism. The Indianapolis Star today is reporting that a 23 year old man was involved in a single car mva in Brownsburg, Indiana (just west of Indianapolis). When his car left the road and smashed into a tree, the man's pistol flew from his pocket and fired; the bullet struck the man in the head.
Let's not read any more horror stories are we going to read where people are hurt and killed by this reckless disregard of proper carrying procedure. There have been far too many over the years.
Do not listen to the GSCs who say that sticking a pistol in your pocket is "all you need." If you spend hundreds of dollars for you pistol, spend the money for a good holster and good belt. Put your pistol in that holster.
A pistol is a snake, when you are carrying it about, you want it secured to your person. Please, please use a holster, the life you save may be your own.
