M60, first of all I am a Nikon user that is attempting to learn photography. Now that that is out of the way, what setup are you using for your photos in this thread?

I have a Nikon DSLR with the 18-55mm kit lens, I also bought a f1.8 35mm Prime lens and a 55-300mm zoom lens....

Thanks and good job!

Oh, here is one of my photos...

ForumSurfer,

Is that powder residue on the lens of your weapon light? If so how often do you have to clean it? I have one mounted on my AR and I like it but it is mounted back by the gas block.

That light sat in my truck for a year only being used as a utility light. I finally tossed it on my g19 to try it out at night. It protrudes past the muzzle so yes, that is residue after about 300 rounds or so. You can wipe it off with your finger, but it made for a neat picture. :) It was still illuminating the target at 20 yards just fine, though it was no longer blinding. I just wanted to see how it would do. Anything sticking out beyond the muzzle is going to get filthy. It doesn't get dirty (at least from powder residue) on my AR.

The heat did do horrible things to the finish, but I don't care too much...it is a tool and should be used as such. :) How do I know it is dependable if I don't try it? If you want pics of the after effect of running the TLR-1s on a glock 19 through 400 or so rounds, just pm me and I'll take a few later.

Hey blacksky, is that a 696?

Here's a 296 with DPX and a Gp100 with golden sabres (although now I feed it DPX and gold dots).

This is my latest acquisition, it's a 3-1/2" Cimarron, Lightning in .38 special caliber.
It's roughly 20% smaller than a full sized Colt, SAA model "P" and is a delight as a cross-draw belt gun under a coat or shirt-tails out in the summer.
The 3-1/2" Model "P, Jr." is just as good but it has a standard sized/shaped grip as the full sized model "P".
Both are great for medium to small sized hands and the quality is superb.
