Pleased with 4320

A few years ago I was given the remainder of a pound of 4320 from a friend. He said he didn't like it. I tried it and fell for it immediately and have bought several pounds since. It performs great for me in 30-30, 35 Rem, 22-250, 7-08, and 223. It's the same burn rate as Varget and BLC2 and I like it better than both. It's a very versatile, small stick powder that meters great, burns clean and very accurate and it seems to be available everywhere I see powder sold. It's a very old powder and I don't know why it's not more popular. Anybody else use it?

I used up the rest of a can my Dad gave me some years ago in .30-06 loads, but I liked 4064 and 3031 better out of my 742 carbine. It was OK, just pounded the action more than I wanted, like 4350 did.

I used 4320 in my daughters rem model 7 .260 some years back and it produced some very accurate loads in that rifle. I still have 2lbs in the cabinet. She now has a rem model 700 .260 that i'm going to use it in as well. It meters great and was very consistent for me.

It's a very useful powder in a variety of things; like the previously mentioned Varget and BLC-2 and I'm surprised it's not in more common use.

I like and use 4320 for 223. Good stuff but difficult to find in these parts.
