PLR 16 in 5.45x39?

Would it be possible to rechamber a kel tec PLR 16 from .223 into 5.45? 5.45 at my local gunshop is 4 bucks a box, and .223 is 8 bucks a box.

No.

Different bore size. (The 5.45 is .220" and the .223 is .224")
Different bolt face & extractor size.

The K-T gas guns are not at all user friendly when it comes to yanking the barrel off to work on it either.

For less then a master gunsmith with a shop, it's send it back to the mother-ship for barrel changes.
