The new Sig P938 comes with one mag. and a belt holster. It's plastci and catches and holds the barrel & slide. You can adjust the tension and seems to work well.

The p938 "sport" is one of the lower price p938s and comes with 2 mags. Same with the p238 "sport". $500 online for the p238 and not much more for the p938. Palmetto State Armory has them on their site.

There is no amount of internet opinion that can make up for trigger time.

And no amount of trigger time can make up for customer support that is not there when you need it. I loved my Kahr CW9 until the front frame rail broke and then I find they are not answering my Emails :(

I'm switching to S&W Sheild because of my outstanding customer support experiences with my M22A. Its right in between the CM9 and CW9 in size and weight so about perfect for me with customer support I can count on.

I have the Kahr and I've had no issues with it. I'm well satisfied thus far. However, a friend dropped by with his new Sig 938, and we put a couple boxes of fmj handloads through it, and I thought it was a great little gun. It was reliable and quite accurate. If price is of no consequence, go for it. If you need to be more frugal, get the Kahr.

thanks for all the input.wanted to let you guys know i bought both. fired both today no failures with either. shot 200 rounds each,115 grn fmj,124 grn fmj,147 grn hst and 124 grn +p jhp. both equally acurate after 1 st mag.recoil was minimal with both except with the +p black hills jhp. surprised of being equally acurate with both considering the difference in triggers. need to shoot these some more before carring. after today i would be confident carrying either one. need small pistol for carrying during our summer here in florida.

Thanks for the follow-up regarding what you got. Nice to get both of them I'm sure. From the sounds of it, they both met your expectations. :) Do you plan on keeping both of them? Time to go shopping for a holster. ;)

I really like my P938. It is accurate and fun to shoot. I use 7 round mag. I had been carrying LCP. It took me about 300 rounds to feel confident. Now I practice draw and safety with laser ammo.

I just missed a very nice sig 938 extreme with 100 Rnds ammo, two mags & holster for $500. Guy called seller 5 min before me and he drove 70 miles to get it. I carry a p238 and a C3, so the 938 would be my first choice for 9mm

yes i am going to keep both,my wife will probably carry the kahr. very satisfied with both guns. more rounds down range without any failures.
