I have the following gun below which belonged to my grandfather, which was in turn passed to me. I have no clue as to what caliber it shoots, who made it, if it is of any value or anything. Does anybody have any clues or could point me to somewhere I could find something out? There are no markings on the gun, no serial number, no stamps, nothing. Thanks in advance.

It would appear to be a .32 RF pistol, made by the Bacon Mfg. Co. of Norwich CT. They made several hundred pistols, some of which were apparently not marked, during the early to mid 1860's. They are relativel rare, but not especially valuable - although the right collector might offer you something around $200.00. It could also be a copy made by an unknown competitor. Unmarked guns are almost always a question mark.
