You're going to love this!
I have a long time friend whom up until recently has been for the most part an anti. Always asking what I need a gun for, why I have so many and asking what I do with them.
Well.... I finally got him to go to the range with me last month and guess what, he's hooked! He says "Now I understand!"
I have never seen someone make such a 180 on any issue.
But it gets better..... for the longest time he was always saying how only the police should have guns and that they shouldn't let just anyone have them. So, he wants to buy his first pistol. We live in California, and he thought it would be simple. Turns out he was wrong. LOL. Well now he doesn't understand why he has to get a safety card, be charges extra money for the paperwork and have to wait 10 days! According to him, "It's just a gun.".
I, being the bastard I am, take this opportunity to remind him that "Thanks to people like he used to be, those are the hoops gun owners must go through to buy 'just a gun.'".
I know one thing for absolute certainty - He will never live this one down if I have anything to say about it.
