Police Magnum Lost In These Spare Parts

The police guns AT ONE POINT had a metal trigger housing and slightly better quality control and finishing touches. That’s realistically about all there is to a “police” gun, but they are desirable because of their very rugged and very utilitarian features. Keep that one, work the action about 4 million times and see how slick it can get.

Not only did our Game & Fish agent come visiting yesterday ...he brought a Hawken rifle he had built from a kit, and that was a real gas to shoot. We spent most of the day at the range as he hadn't been shooting for a long while, and had also sat on a Colt AR15 CAR (6220) that his dad had carried in the field as a Forest Service Ranger, now bound to a desk in Flagstaff where he was raised. We gave him a can of that SS109 we found, it cycled flawlessly ...but we tested that Hawken at various distances and watching the dirt plumes from the backstop, the effect of the bullet weight is massive. That's top my list now: https://www.thehawkenshop.com/default.htm

"I , hatchet jack, being of sound mind and broke legs do here by leaveth my bar rifle to any man who finds it. Lord hopeth it be a white man. It's a good rifle and kilt the bar that kilt me. Anyway, I am dead. Yours truly, Hatchet Jack"

We have to stay away from the Bunker for now, it stinks so damn bad it's overwhelming ...started the day by spraying two jugs of ammonia, which he provided along with a power spray head that did the job. We setup a remote WiFi camera in back with IR to monitor the spot in case they come back, but he said they won't, even when the smell dies down. Unknown to me, these nasty creatures are now encroaching and crowding out other animals through the southwest. ...so hope to restart our adventure this weekend.
