Does anyone use or have experience with the Polish Capper? The brass one looks interesting on their website.

I picked one up recently. It’s a little difficult to use on a revolver. You have to square things up just so. I gave up and went back to using my fingers. I will try again tomorrow at the range and see if I do better. I’m sure it would work great on rifles.

I'vee tried to get used to cappers..... From ted cash to straight lines ive had no luck...
Though I have pretty bad carpal tunnel spells I still find myself finger capping.....

I like cappers for single shots but not for six guns. Over the years I've found what works for me is take a #11, give it a little oval between thumb and index, then hook it over the cone and press in place. I never have caps come loose or fly off that way. Takes a few extra seconds per load but worth the peace of mind.

I use a Polish capper almost as often as my Ted Cash. The quality is really good. Hefty bit of brass. They did have a batch where the release mechanism tended to bring the cap away with the capper instead of sticking it on the nipple- it was due to an area not properly finished - which they sorted out quickly and will exchange with no quibbles under warranty. Any bought now won't suffer from this.issue.

Interesting - all I have is a line capper that works, sort of, when it wants to. I was pointed at a star capper made from 3D printing, but only holds six caps in a star formation for capping revolvers, might get that soon just to see how it works.

I have a polish capper. It's very well made, but I found it's not the easiest to use. I imagine like said before that they would likely work well for single shot type nipples.

I have the plastic 3D printed ones and use them much more than any other type of capper I have. Here's a pic.

Mine is well made, and maybe a little more reliable than my Ted Cash. It's still not great, though. I usually get fed up with it and switch back to fingers...

The ones pictured are from MesaWinds.

These do get a bit loose over time. I used this yellow set almost exclusively for all of last years cap and ball shooting. This set is still usable but sometimes the caps fall out if you flip them over.

When they're new they don't do this. The looseness comes with loading them up at least 20 times or so.

Never loaded #10's in these, I imagine those would fall out easier than #11s but never tried it.

For field carry that type of capper makes sense.Better that fumbling a tin of caps out of a pocket or possibles bag then trying to extract one or six for reloading. All of my shooting, twice a week range visits. are from a waist high bench on a firing line. I’ve never used a capper. Thumb and forefinger seems to work just fine in those situations. A capper would just be another piece of kit to walk off and forget at home or forgot to reload and find it’s empty. JMO.
