Polish out holster wear on a S&W TSW stainless?

Hi, any ideas on removing some shiny "holster wear" spots on a S&W TSW pistol? I have heard various advice, including using green scotchbrite pad, various dremel attachments, other polishes, etc.

I just want to try and get the worst of the shiny wear spots down to the duller finish of the rest of the gun. Are the TSW's a brushed or bead blasted stainless finish? And are they matte or satin?

Maybe I should just accept the blemishes for what they are...

Pretty much the same thing.

It is likely a bead-blast finish, and that is the only way to match it.

Anything you can do with a Dremel will only stand out like a hairy wart on a beautiful woman!
