Who is the go-to company for the kits to complete one of these projects? Is JSD any good? They sell one that is everything minus frame for $320. (G19)

I've used Rockey Brass several times with great results. The Poly90 frames are built by Poly80, so they are pretty much the same everywhere. The bigger issue may be who makes the upper and lower parts kits. The ones from China are cheaper . . . for a reason. Several companies make slides and barrels. I would suggest limiting the number of different providers because while they may all claim to be OEM spec, you may get parts from one place on the small side of the spec, and other parts from a different company on the large side, and suddenly you find they don't really fit and work well. If a reputable distributor has put together a 'completion' kit, I would think they may have taken steps to ensure they are most likely to fit together and function correctly.

JSD always did good by me, but they are a very small company: three guys in a section of strip mall, swimming in parts. If anything goes wrong, it's not going to be a painless return. So when I need P80 parts and I don't want to think too hard, I go to Brownells and Midway.

JSD is a preferred vendor over on the Marine Gun Builder forum. They are good to go. With that being said. I always stick with OEM Glock parts in all of my 80% builds. I've seen too many issues with aftermarket parts, especially trigger housings that cause a bad sear engagement. One of the worst trigger housings is the Polymer 80 brand, almost guaranteed to have bad sear engagement issues. I've done several write ups on teh MGB forum which some have been reposted on the MGB Blog.
