As much as I love SIG (their classic SA/DA series are my favorite series of pistols), I don't care for their polymer offerings. I owned a P250, and while it seemed to be nice quality and it felt great in hand, it had too many shortcomings for me to overlook (3 bad magazines, slide not locking back, trigger). It did not earn a spot in my safe, and was sold
SP2022 is decent, but it doesn't compare to say, a Glock 19 when it comes to poly vs poly...at least to me
If SIG could make a gun with the P250 compact frame, the DA/SA trigger with decocker/no manual safety, include two magazines, and be every bit as reliable as the old German P2xx series, I'd be the first in line, and would buy one in both 9mm and .45 ACP
