Wish I would have watched these before I set mine up the first time. I made the mistake of reading the instructions:(. I figured it out on my own, but never really had a routine, but it is pretty forgiving, so I manage OK.

Personal experience: Be aware of the window height in relation to your chair/stool. I found my blind windows too low and got a sore neck within a few minutes using the ##$%%^ thing. I gave it away to a shorter relative and I never saw him use it either.

Good suggestion. My Rhino blind worked perfectly. I'm 5'10" and use a Scheel's folding chair. My line of sight is squarely in the middle. My buddy is short, about 5'5" and uses a folding stool and he shoots just fine. My nephew has used my blind and he is 6'2" and it works equally well for him. The floor space is also important. I also use a BOG tripod with a "death grip" hog saddle. The blind allows ample space to sit the tripod and offers a near perfect gun rest for steady shooting.

I will check out the window height after I receive it and experiment with chair height.
Thanks

Im in between you and your friend on height so Im thinking I should be fine but will find a chair accordingly. I too will have extra equip such as my bi-pod and a small tripod to hold my phone, as I hope to record my shot.
Thanks

Glad to hear that your blind survived. That's pretty much what one of my Ameristep Doghouse blinds looked like after about a foot of wet, heavy snow and it also got popped right back into place. Which is why I now have a vertical 2x4 in the center of the interior for when it's unoccupied. I should have got a "before" picture of the blind before it got cleaned off and the top re-positioned. My previous post picture was my other Doghouse blind taken recently with the 2x4 in place and the top is a bit higher than Ameristep designed it but it sheds snow better and won't cave in as easily. I did discover one photo here on the computer from the cave-in episode but it was taken after the roof got cleaned off & popped back up..... No damage to it and that was 2019 and that blind is still going strong although it only gets set up & used during deer season vs. the "year round" one... IMG_2595 (2).JPG .... For what they cost they've held up good. One's 4 years old and the other's 3.

Just received my new Rhino R-600 and think Im going to like it. Have set up and taken down a few times and its fairly easy.
Looking from inside the blinds I had several years ago, I want to say I remember seeing small pin holes in them, but not sure.
Since its been a few years, can anyone tell me if its normal to have small pin holes shining light through them like in the pictures ?

Are these pics in your new blind? That seems odd. I have no recollection of pin-holes in mine and it did not leak. I'm ordering my new blind soon, so I'll be looking for any irregularities.

I have had pinholes like that in the ground blinds I have used.

Yes these pictures are from my new blind. The holes are easy to see with a bright light or sun behind them. I thought I remember seeing the same thing several years ago, but wasnt sure. The holes are from where they have done stitching around the windows etc...so Im hoping it might be normal.

I think I remember the same thing.
