Possible problem with a SW 638....

I traded for this one a little over a week ago and just got to shoot it this past friday. I put 50 rounds of PMC 132 gr. JRN thru it and out of the 50 rounds fired about half of them keyholed. I was only shooting at 7 yards so I was surprised to say the least.

Has anyone heard of this happening with PMC? 132gr. is kind of an odd bullet weight, could that have conributed?

The rifling looks fine so I don't think that is the cause. I plan to go out this weekend and shoot it with different ammo (Remington 130gr JRN and Winchester WB) to find out if this gun just doesn't like that particular brand. I may try to find some light-loaded 158gr or 148 gr loads as well.


Any sugggestions, ideas, etc.?

I'm betting a different bullet will do better. Try 148 gr WC or the 158 gr SWC designs.
