Safety is first when you are hunting, especially with group!

Ar-15 is great for smaller animals and would do the work on biger animals with right shot placement. Try to make follow up shot on larger animals, shoot the lower 1/2 of the pig as it might have tough shield on the top and bullet might not penetrate, expecially when you are shooting under angle. I had experience with arrow not penetrating when I was shooting under angle and got close to the top. I had experience when my 308, 180 gr got stock in the shield, good thing after passing through the ribs and vitals : )

Good luck, it is fun hunting, I just cannot eat them anymore due to my high blood pressure, have to give away if get one.
