Thanks for sharing all the pics with us, guys! Just find it necessary to mention that while customized autoloaders can look pretty dang sharp, the classic lines of a revolver have always struck as me as being the best in the looks department (especially some of the gorgeous weapons you've all posted).
*Sighs* Some day I will add my .357 picture to these...
Mark(psycho)Phipps( HAHAHA! )
hooray, as of the beginning of this week, i can finally join this club!
my lowly taurus 689, took the picture with my lowly cell phone camera. and it's used; but i used the criteria at the top of the forum for used revolvers and it's turned out fine. definitely gonna need bigger grips, though.
it's my first handgun, though i already have my fair share of long guns. a tidbit of information for those of you not fortunate enough to live in california: when buying a handgun here, we also have to furnish proof of residence in the state. this requirement is typically fulfilled in the form of a utility bill from the last five months or vehicle registration. so basically means i had a little growing up to do before being able to get a handgun. and now i'm proud that i've been able to gain that much more responsibility, and above all, pop off all the .357 magnum and .38 special i like!
so far with this gun it seems like i'm that much more accurate with the .357 mag than with .38, regardless of brand. does anyone else have that sort of tendacy?
2 1/4 dao,sp101, 3" gp100 and 6" gp100. All right next to there friend the mossy 590-a1 12 gauge. Oh and the little knife is a ruger labeled case knife.
Getting one from my stepdad tomorrow. It is a 686. I will find out tomorrow if it has a dash. He says he has the box somewhere packed up. He will get it to me later. The gun is mint. I will post pics tomorrow. 6 in. barrel. I can't wait!! I've shot it before; it is awesome. Going to kill some hogs with it this year. Pics tomorrow.
Here is a 2 1/2" M66-2 that I traded for. This was tuned by the old Bill Davis Service Center, and has a sweet action. And yes, it is a round butt with square butt grips - works great for me....
