Why should all the .45 ACP guys have the fun showing off?

A Ted Yost "retro-rocket":

And for the folks who like something a bit flashier, one by Dane Burns:

Plain vanilla Glock 20. Nothing ever done to it except I bought a 40 S&W bbl for it that I still must try someday.

The more the merrier.

A Vic Tibbets' "Xtreme Operator" model (okay, that's not what he'd call it, but hey ... :D ):

Definitely not a pampered safe queen ...

I mean, what's the point if you don't shoot 'em a little ...

Here's my stainless Delta, in mid-project form. Still need to get refinished.

I don't think anything in 10mm knows how to be "plain vanilla."

I like the Colt 1911 style as much as anybody, but... I always liked the FBI 10mm, even though it crashed and burned.

The FBIs disuse of the Smith & Wesson 1076 gave me the opportunity to finally pick up one for a song; this version is the exact same as the civilian model except that this model will fire with the magazine removed; and says so on the right side of the slide. I guess the FBI didn't want their agents to be completely disarmed if they lost all their magazines.

No manual safety, a decocker alá Sig, straight backtsrap and Trijicon night sights. Still think it's pretty cool.

Sean, I'd post, but Sig has not made my 10mm yet:D
Sweet guns people.
I'm a non-owning 10mm fan my self.

Project in progress: Series 1 Kimber Pro Carry, .40S&W to 10mm conversion, plus some other stuff...

I'm doing Xpress 24-7 sights, an Ed Brown beavertail, slide stop and extractor and then I'll get some fru fru finish put on it.

:D

Here's a side-by-side of my S&W 1006 and Bren Standard Model with the smooth Herrett grips.

I wondered how long it would take before someone posted a Bren Ten. Figures it would be Nordic.

I miss the Bren Ten:(

Got to hold a few a couple years ago. Never got to actually shoot one. I wish someone would pick up the tooling and make them again.

I've shot a Bren Ten a couple of times. Really nice, soft shooter. Very mild recoil, even taking the size & weight of the gun into account.

I love the 10mm, I have a Colt, Delta 10mm ser# DEL014X. I had EGW do a reliability job, beaver tail, commander hammer, trigger job. The next mod is to install Novak Low profiles night sites, then a nice new finnish. Not sure which one yet, but NP3 is leading.

Next project is to have a 10mm barrel fitted to my Para P16.40. Nothing like having 17 10mm's on hand.

I shoot my Colt in IDPA, have no problems knocking over steel.

Here's my baby, with an authentic laser shot too. (I can see why the gun rags fake 'em.)

Nordic: how's the BrenTen shoot in comparison to the S&W? BTW, how many of those elusive hard to get magazines do you have for the BrenTen?
Yours must be the oldest 10mm here at the board. Mine may be second as I don't have finger grooves on my G20.

The Bren is a real soft shooting 10mm. The grip isn't quite as wide as the G20 and obviously doesn't flex, but it does have the weight that the Glock lacks. It just feels real good in your hand. I've got six mags (two per gun), but would like to pick up more. They actually aren't as difficult to find as you would think, but they are expensive being in the $125 range.

How many rounds does the BrenTen hold? Are they the "Holy Grail" of 10mm guns? If you could only choose between the S&W and the BrenTen, which would you choose and why?

***whew***

Thanks :D
