A minty model 15 snubby was my first revolver at 18. Unlike with later Smith and Colt revolvers that have come and passed onto more receptive hands. The DW was never a problem child.

Since CZ-USA now owns DW and they have decided to bring back
Revolvers in 445 SuperMag..

I'd opt for the stainless Vent Heavy 8 incher!

I have no need for SuperMag power..my shooting would be done with heavy .44 Magnum handloads. really no need for the compensator as found on the equally nice looking Alaskan Guide Model.

I'm also told that there is a NON alaskan guide model with a reduction in price. An offering in .45 Colt and even 10mm would be nice.

What will your choice be?

Well I now have two. One is a blued 357 pistol pack that I got from my dad. It has the 4,6,8 barrels. The other is one I picked up on Jan1. It is a blued 44 mag with the 4 and 8 barrels. Soon I will add a 6 to it too!

My Brother is making me a custom muzzle brake for my 44. It will replace the barrel nut (current plan) so it should work on any of my .44 barrels. I will post some pictures once I get it back together.

Would love to have a 2.5" barrel for the 357. First I need a 6" for the 44! :)

Decisions, decisions. :banghead:

Then I move on to the .22!

I love this pistol. But it has a timing problem. Someone here suggested a new bolt spring. I've changed that, and although it did help the situation, the situation still exists. When firing DA sometimes the cylinder will spin short or past lockup and allow the hammer to fall. I've emailed CZ USA twice but no response from them. Does anyone know where I should send this to get repaired or should I just replace the hand?

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Try giving them a call. I sent them an email asking about a part and it took a week to get a reply. When I called them directly, I got right through and they fixed me up.
