A minty model 15 snubby was my first revolver at 18. Unlike with later Smith and Colt revolvers that have come and passed onto more receptive hands. The DW was never a problem child.
Since CZ-USA now owns DW and they have decided to bring back
Revolvers in 445 SuperMag..
I'd opt for the stainless Vent Heavy 8 incher!
I have no need for SuperMag power..my shooting would be done with heavy .44 Magnum handloads. really no need for the compensator as found on the equally nice looking Alaskan Guide Model.
I'm also told that there is a NON alaskan guide model with a reduction in price. An offering in .45 Colt and even 10mm would be nice.
What will your choice be?
