Wording...

"Kids trust parents to defend them"

I'd go with "Kids trust parents to protect them."


The reason is that it places goblin defense into its proper perspective; which is to say it's one element of a much larger duty.

Kids are protected from a lot of things, notably unnattended 5 gallon buckets of water, amongst others.

Oleg, I am with the "1st pic" crowd.

You have another photo with a father holding his infant in his right arm while pointing or firing a pistol at off screen BG with left hand. I forget what the caption is, but I remember it saying volumes about a parent's necessary readiness to protect his loved ones. (Excellent, like everything else I've seen on your site!)
