Interesting as I do not get that from the image. I don't see it as trying to get anyone to "our side" but more as making a firm statement. The statement being I will not give up my guns or more important my rights easily. If you want my guns, understand I am willing to fight for them, up to and including the use of deadly force. I see the image itself done in very good taste and delivering a message.What message is she trying to communicate? That gun people are scary and threatening? It seems like it would polarize people: pro-2A and anti-2A people will get riled up and everybody else will be turned off. I doubt it would get anyone on our side who isn't there already.
