If I wanted to add a keg of specific 30.06 for my Belgium Browning for my precision rifle which would I get? This in case I'm even able to find it..

Thank you for the advice so far. I think this beats asking at the LGS! Better and more advice so far has really helped me. I can trust the added years of experience found here rather a single person (seller) who has a vested interest.

I would look at reloading data for the calibers, and list the common powders to each and all your choices.

BUT, for now it seems that just about everybody, (NOT ALL OF EM) but most retailers have hung the "Temporarly Unavailable or Temporarly out of stock.) shingle on their inventory.

What is up with that? :banghead:

I am glad I got 8# of each, 700x,WST,Hogdon Titegroup, Auto Comp! keep them cool and closed, should be good for awhile.

I have no idea! The suppose plan was to already have a local captured weapon and empty/fired cases with it. So the idea was to continue your E&E but be able to have created some working cartridges so you could to have a round or a few to be able to break contact or just ambush a lone soldier or a pair. That would let you resupply with the ammo and food or other items they carried.

We were taught how to mix a crude propellent and encouraged to test and mix and test burn it by trial and error until you made the fastest burnig combo and then load the rifle or pistol rounds with it. We were told mot to expect it to work well at allor very poorly the first time but the purpose was to learn to do it where we could make it work. Also told that on the best day it will not even work even close to the power of black powder but it was something productive to do if injuried and had to have some "make work" while healing that had a purposefull end goal of getting back no matter what "Never Quit". I never finished the class.

I was pulled due to a 2 day sick call and joined another class in progress to learn antenna theory make field expedient antennas with one being hidden in the open. Like a clothes line or fake lighting rod ground or other things expected to be found in a rural area like a farm. From what my buddy said most in the class made a round that worked (kinda well enough)

For all my 30-06 ammo other than the ammo used in an M1 Garand I use H4350 (or IMR4350) with very good success. That powder produces very good accuracy in all my 30-06 rifles.
