Powder measure newby question

As an update to my powder measure question: When the old Perfect Powder Measure died i ordered another. It arrived yesterday and I plugged it into my universal powder die and took off.

Here's the question. There seems to be some rotational torque on the measure as the casing rises. Is this normal? I don't want to ruin a new measure by having some invisible error.

The die does not seem to transfer the vertical motion of the case smoothly to the rotational movement needed to cycle the measure. It wants to pull to one side as it rises/pivots during the dump cycle. It does the reverse in the fill cycle.
